Overview
Information Security Deputy to report to the Information Security Lead. Information Security Officer - London based. Great opportunity to progress your career in a smaller environment wher you are involved in a lot more Information Security decisions. Also the Information Security Officer will have the added benefit of working with one of the veterans of the Information Security industry. The Assistant Information Security Officer will work with technical architects and PM's to provide advice on IT Security Architecture. As it is a relatively small Bank the Information Security Officer will have a broad range of Cyber Security experience. Information Security Analyst will a good understanding of the technology as well as the design side. The Information Security Officer will be a member of the Information Security team reviewing the performance of Security controls in operation to support the Information Security Management System. Some of the Information Security Officers responsibilities will include; Evaluating systems for vulnerabilities Detecting and responding to IT Security incidents Advising on preventative action Deputising as and when Design, implementation and maintenance of security intelligence technologies. Use monitoring techniques to improve security Act as a Security Technical Authority - defining security processes to ensure project deliverables Conduct security research Be a member of the Information Security forum. The right person will have good information security operations experience preferrably in banking.
