Overview
Due to continuous success, we are looking for a well experienced Senior Account Handler / Broker (Commercial Insurance) to join a leading brokerage in Wakefield. Servicing Commercial customers on a national level; we are looking for a Senior Account Handler / Broker with previous experience within the Insurance industry, particularly within a brokerage capacity. Salary negotiable DOE - up to £30,000 Generous commission structure 23 holiday days stats Pension Support towards ACII studies Free onsite parking As a Senior Account Handler, you will work as part of a small team to provide a seamless service to all Commercial insurance clients. This will also involve working closely alongside an Account Director, working with large-scale clients with significant premiums. Role responsibilities of the Senior Account Handler / Broker: Providing new business sales and renewal quotations for new and existing clients Accurately identifying client requirements and providing precise and comprehensive sales quotations Liaising with Insurers / Underwriters daily to ensure the best customer deals Handling mid-term adjustments and proactively responding to client queries Adhering to strict FCA regulations and guidelines Supporting and working closely with other Account Handlers / Directors Providing advice and guidance on several areas of Commercial Insurance including Wealth Management, Health Insurance, Risk Management and Credit Insurance Providing a quality service to all clients Skills and experience: A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in Commercial Insurance Previous brokerage experience (essential) Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with decision makers operating within different sectors A good track record of customer retention and Insurance sales Able to operate Insurance software effectively Strong understanding of professional and industry standards and practices (FCA) Working collaboratively as a key member of a small client team Fantastic opportunity to join a growing business and a lovely, close knit team.
