Overview
My client, a leading wholesale bank in UK is looking for an experience Transaction Monitoring Senior Analyst to join their team. They are going through a period of growth and have opportunities to join the business on 12 month FTC (very likely to go permanent due to growth) & permanent basis. The key responsibilities include: Supporting 1LOD within the business, by managing the monitoring process for all payments. Ensuring all regulations & requirements of legislation are met. Contributing to prevention of exposure to money laundering or terrorist financing. Filing SARs to AML team/MLRO. Ideal candidate will have: 2 years experience in an AML related role. Proficient knowledge of UK AML requirements, including Money Laundering Directives, JMLSG Guidance, Proceeds of Crime & Terrorism Act. Payments/SWIFT knowledge, ideally within emerging markets. Relevant qualifications (ICA/ACAMS AML) High level of accuracy and attention to detail in a high volume environment. For the right candidate, my client is offering salary between £35,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience), as well as great benefits package.
