My client is a well established company based in Warrington that has provided its financial services to local companies for over 30 years. They have a team of 100 and are looking to take on another role of Payroll Manager to support their thriving business after the previous post holder retired. Description The Payroll Manager will be expected to; Develop systems to process payroll account transactions (e.g. salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions, taxes and third party payments) Coordinate timekeeping and payroll systems Oversee processing of payroll changes (e.g. new hires, terminations, raises) and system upgrades Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies Supervise and coach payroll clerks and assistants on a day to day basis (7 in team) Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits Collaborate with Human Resources (HR) and accounting teams Keep up to date with current payroll legislation Maintain accurate records and prepare reports Resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions Profile The Payroll Manager will be/have; Advanced Knowledge of Excel 2-3 Years Minimum Payroll Experience Proven experience of working under pressure in a fast paced environment Strong communication skills Payroll Implementation Skills and Experience Previously used Sage payroll Relationship management Project management/implementation experience Job Offer The successful applicant will receive; Annual bonus Study support 5% pension contribution Life Assurance policy 25 days annual leave Birthday off Free parking
