Overview

I am looking for 2 Network Engineers to join a leading organisation based in Manchester to assist in the delivery of their Technology Transformation Programme which is focussed on modernising their current systems as they look to leverage cloud-based IT services. This is a 3 month contract which will be inside IR35 As a Network Engineer you will be responsible for identifying network requirements to ensure the security and business continuity of the company are met. You will be designing and implementing any improvements identified as well as being an escalation point for operational support and to engage with third party suppliers and service providers where necessary. To apply I am looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer with demonstrable experience in operational support, design and implementation of Cisco network technologies with a focus on Routing and Switching technologies as well as Security appliances. You will have strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work under pressure. You will have excellent communications skills (both written and verbal) and have the ability to prioritise a dynamic workload. Skills Required Routing Technologies – EIGRP, BGP, Route-Maps, Redistribution Switching – Catalyst Switches, VLANs, STP, DHCP Snooping, ARP Inspection AAA SNMP Firewalls (ASA and FTD) IPS/IDS VPN Technologies (IPSec, SSL etc) Cisco Wireless technologies ISE - NAC (802.1X), Guest/Sponsor portals F5 BIG-IP (LTM, ASM) This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89839861
