Overview
An autonomous, regional role for a HR Manager to join a successful retail business, based out of Portsmouth. Your new company My client are an employer of choice who operate a number of highly successful businesses within their group, throughout the South of England. The majority of these businesses fall within the food and drink / retail sectors. The company employ over 3,500 staff and have a proud record of providing fantastic service to local communities across many counties for over 125 years. Annual turnover for the group exceeds £400m. Your new role Reporting to the Head of Operations, this is an exciting opportunity for a HR Manager / Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor to join the team in a varied, regional role covering 21 locations (flexible working applies). As HR Manager, you will execute the strategy to grow an expanding business by ensuring the right policies, processes and practices are in place to support organic growth and future acquisitions. As mentioned above, this is an autonomous, field based role with significant travel across the South of England (company car provided). What you'll need to succeed This role will suit a HR Manager / Business Partner or a Senior HR Advisor looking for that next step. The ideal candidate will have multi-site experience in retail or hospitality, but other sector experience will be considered. Key skills/experience includes: CIPD qualified Broad HR generalist experience In depth knowledge of current employment legislation and its application Experience of TUPE and acquisitions Experience of working in a multi-site organisation Confident communicator with excellent coaching and influencing skills What you'll get in return This is an excellent opportunity for a driven HR professional to join an employer of choice, who represent leading retail brands in a varied regional role.
