Job Title: Electrical Fitter - Rolling Stock Location: Buckinghamshire Interviews/Start date: April 2020 Contract Length: Initial 6-month contract "Urgent requirement for high-quality Electrical Fitter? This company offers a wide variety of services within the Rail & Rolling Stock industry and plays a vital role in the design, maintenance and repairs of trains used daily right across the UK. The Role You will be working on a project making modifications and installing new electrical components to trains before they go into service. As an Electrical Fitter you will focus on the interior refit performing modifications to various components. Your skills will include panel wiring on large automotive vehicles, ideally rolling stock, aircraft, heavy plant machinery or industrial conveyor systems. The Ideal Candidate If you are an experienced Electrical Fitter with excellent skills in wiring and crimping, please get in touch. To be considered for this role, you will have a strong background in rolling stock, aviation, aerospace, heavy plant or conveyor systems, with a Level 3 qualification in Engineering or electrical discipline. You will also be aware of the Health & Safety procedures to follow in a Safety Critical environment. You will be an Electrical Fitter with a high level of understanding of panel wiring within a transportation environment. A background in commercial or industrial installations and developments is also highly relevant. The Requirements A proven background as an electrical fitter with extensive skills in crimping would be strongly considered. The ideal candidate will be able to commit to the project, which is expected to progress into late 2020, maybe longer.
