Overview
Software Engineer (C / C++ / ADA) 12 months contract Warton based SC cleared role £44 ph LTD My client is a well-recognised Defence and Engineering company who has an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer to join them on an initial 12 months contract out of their offices in Warton. The role is on an initial 12 months contract and would require the successful candidate to be SC cleared prior to joining the assignment. The Software Development Team has contracts to develop the next generation of Mission Systems for use on a wide range of platforms. As a Software Engineer you will have an opportunity to support and contribute towards shaping the future architecture of numerous systems. SOFTWARE ENGINEER SKILLS: C & C++ or Java software development using Eclipse IDE Ada (95 and onwards) using the AdaCore development environment Source code configuration tools e.g. Subversion or GIT Use of UML and associated design tools DESIRABLE SOFTWARE ENGINEER SKILLS: Embedded software development using real-time operating system environments Agile development techniques (Scrum/kanban/CI) Knowledge of data driven design, model based architectures and service driven software If you are interested in this opportunity and match the criteria above, please send your CV in the first instance for immediate consideration.
