As a C# Software Developer within this friendly team, you will join a well established and expanding organisation who are market leaders in their field. If you would like to develop your C# .Net skills further, scope exists to learns new skills such as android application development and Xamarin. As a C# Software Developer, you will be responsible for an exciting project involving the management and upgrade of a legacy system to a newer, more modern version with more advanced language and reporting capabilities. Migration of data and development and upgrade of reporting systems and techniques will be a key area of focus in this role. Aiding data connectivity, streamlining systems and ways of working and reporting data in a more efficient manner are key organisational objectives. Working within a skilled development team across the full software development lifecycle you will be liaising with other C# Developers and Product Managers on a daily basis. There may also be an opportunity to assist with the development and upgrade of their android app system. We're looking for a C# Software Developer with 2 years experience upwards who can: Work with the development team, to assist in the migration and upgrade of a legacy system Review current systems and presenting ideas for systems improvements Integrate software components and third party programs Verify and deploy programs and systems Product test before going live Troubleshoot debug and upgrade existing software Gather and evaluate user feedback Recommend and executive improvements Writing code from scratch Create technical documentation for referencing and reporting Be responsible for ongoing maintenance of the system once up and running Skills and experience required: Proven experience working as a Software Developer - C# Knowledge and experience of coding languages C# and SQL Server are essential Frameworks/systems experience such as REST web services, GIT or Xamarin would be desirable Exposure to android app devices would be of benefit but not essential Ability to learn new languages and technologies Excellent communication and problem solving skills Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude A tech problem solver Software Developer / Developer / Software Engineer/ C# / .Net / Dot Net / SQL Server / GIT / REST Web Services / Xamarin / Android Apps / .Net Based near Leyland, Lancashire.
