Overview
Engine Technicians / Testers / Inspectors Required Portsmouth Full Time Permanent Hours Monday - Friday - 37 hours per week Pay Between £25000 and £27000 dependant on experience Company The client is a specialist in their niche field providing engine maintenance, service, repair and fault finding. Role The stripping down of engines, products and components following instructions Cleaning parts as necessary Inspection of parts to determine if they can be re-used, refitted or scraped Follow product guides and OEM manuals Rebuild units Prepare items for testing team Ensure all necessary paperwork and record keeping is completed Tester and Inspectors are also required to test and inspect the work done by the technicians. Person Requirements The successful candidates must be educated to at least Level 3 with a relevant Mechanical Engineering or similar qualification Applications are welcome from recently completed Apprenticeship Schemes as long as a Level 3 was achieved General applications are welcome from Level 3 candidates who wish to be considered for the Technician, Tester or Inspector role, candidate details can be submitted to the client to cover all of these positions and the client can then consider where / if they feel you would fit well in the business.
