Overview
I am currently working on before of a leading National Charity that is seeking to appoint an experienced Physiotherapist into one of their specialist Neurological Centres Hospitals in West Yorkshire. This role will be a 12 month fixed term contract in the first instance. Situated near Leeds, the service itself provides safe and supportive Neurological Rehabilitation, Complex Care, and support to those with Acquired Brain Injury. As a Therapy Lead your daily duties include: Supporting the rehabilitation of those who are being discharged from hospital but require continued period of assessment to reach their best potential following their brain injury. Expected to help support assessments of referrals, manage your own caseload and support the clinical team with the progression and rehabilitation of our service users. As part of the team you will helping shape and develop the service for the future alongside the service manager. Carrying out any investigations Working collaboratively with all the team to promote the quality of life, wellbeing and best interests of the Service users. The key skills and experience required include: Proven work history or working with neurological conditions A valid registration with HCPC A specialist in Physiotherapy Strong interpersonal qualities of teamwork and communication are essential as is evidence of a commitment to training and professional development. You will be part of the clinical team but you will be the only physiotherapist on site.
