Client Details A well established and Manufacturing and Production business based in Cambridge, situated in between Sawston and Duxford. Leaders in the Manufacturing and Production sector, this company are going from strength to strength, and are seeking an Interim Payroll Officer to come in and make an immediate impact within the business. Working from a fantastic office, you will also get the opportunity to work closely with an experienced team who will be able to guide you throughout the process. Description The Interim Payroll Officer will be responsible for: Working closely with the team to assist with the payroll onto the global payroll system. Creating and updating detailed standard operating procedures. Having excellent time management and clear communication skills are pivotal in succeeding throughout this role. Dealing with all payroll related queries directly and confidently. Maintaining information in accordance with company requirements. Maintaining up to date working knowledge of company requirements in area of responsibility. Advising colleagues on any changes that have occurred or may occur. Profile The successful candidate for the Interim Payroll Officer requires: Excellent systems skills and very quick to pick up new processes. For example, Excel - Pivot Tables, Vlookups, Macros. Experience in systems identification, implementation and data migration. The ability to quickly recognise situations and areas for improvement. Proven experience of payroll administration throughout previous roles to date. Excellent communication skills, ability to manage deadlines. Being able to come in and fit in well the team. Having that drive and 'can-do' attitude is crucial in order to progress within this business. Experience in a fast pace environment would be advantageous.
