Overview
Robert Half Cambridge are delighted to be assisting a fast-growing tech company in Cambridge in their search for an Interim Management Accountant. The management accountant's role will play a critical part in maintaining and improving the financial systems and processes in order to deliver the accurate, high quality consolidation of Group reporting and management information. The successful candidate must have IFS system knowledge. The role: Take a primary role for the preparation and consolidation of the Group management accounts on a monthly basis, including liaison with overseas finance personnel. Assist and develop the preparation of short-term cash forecasts Review the preparation procedures of the monthly management accounts with a view to reducing the reporting timetable Supervising junior management accounts staff Perform detailed analytical review on monthly results versus budget and be able to communicate variances concisely Review and preparation of balance sheet reconciliations Identifying, designing, implementing and consolidating Group management reporting and information requirements to fully support Group initiatives. Working collaboratively with finance team to drive change and improvements to processes. Ad-hoc project work Profile: Qualified Accountant (preferably ACA or ACCA) Strong systems and Excel skills Manufacturing experience preferred IFS system knowledge essential If you are interested in this role, please contact Calum Forster on.
