Overview
Due to continuing success and growth, this pioneering organisation within the retail industry is looking for an experienced Credit Control Team Leader to join their friendly and customer-centric team. You will report directly to the Credit Manager yet be encouraged to work autonomously, given the freedom to manage the performance of a small team and control your own ledger. A social and friendly team set in a modern office in Birmingham, the successful candidate will have the capacity to integrate into to a busy department, maintain a perform culture and lead by example conducting themselves professionally. This is a great opportunity to make a real impact within this organisation that is now embarking on period of change, you will be challenged to review current processes and suggest improvements to increase the overall effectiveness of the credit function. Ideally, you will: • Have previous experience managing with the Credit function • Demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative with the organisational capacity to manage a ledger and the performance of a small team • Have great interpersonal skills as you will be required to build long lasting, professional relationships with a diverse set of clients and colleagues • Be comfortable using Microsoft IT packages, specifically able to manipulate data in Excel In return, you will: • Be part of a lively and social department with an excellent reputation in the market • Control your own ledger and be given the freedom to manage the performance of a small team • Enter a development scheme that focusses on upskilling employees that includes study support if required • Have access to free onsite parking This is an ideal opportunity for someone that has previous experience in Credit control and is ready to take the next step as a leader, if you have the required skills please apply.
