Junior React Developer Salary: £40K - £50K Basic 10% bonus Benefits package (14% pension, private health, etc) Location: Central London, West end, Fitzrovia. Some work from home time as standard. Would you like your React development skills to be seen by over 2 million people from the comfort of their own sofas? (Or other places where people watch screens) Bask in your own React glory as you proudly point to the screen & tell your loved one’s “I did that”. Marvel as they coo over your amazing React development skills that have created such a beautiful human to machine interface. Back on planet earth, you’ll be working to create good-looking, yet elegantly functional Front end React UI’s for some the UK’s best-known, viewed, listened to & on-demand media, across 200 TV & radio channels. Coding in the latest React, TypeScript & web technologies, you’ll be comfortable working with an experienced, engaged & well-respected software engineering in-house team. You’ll be working closely with a more senior React Developer from day one, so being able to get along with at least one other human being is pretty key. Office environment is…. relaxed. This is in the media sector. Jeans & t-shirt / jumpers / flowery shirts / ironic 80’s slogan tops are normal work wear. You’ll need to be comfortable working in an Agile (Scrum) environment & actively contributing your ideas to the on-going development of the product & code base. You’ll be happy to bring along some, all or most of the below skill set to this role (for a junior, just React would be great) - Experience with agile working practices and tools such as jira / confluence - Programming experience in (some of) the below key technologies, in particular: - React, HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript. - Redux, Redux-Saga - Npm (or Yarn) - Webpack - Experience with latest engineering practises including automation of deployment pipelines.
