Overview
Communicate is currently working with an exciting international marketing agency based in Central London, as they search for a qualified Group Accountant to join their team on an initial 6 month contract. The business is aiming to continue their rapid rise to success through a mixture of acquisitions, organic growth and operational efficiencies. Further expansion of their current sites in Europe, Asia and America. This role is ideal for a highly ambitious and capable accountant to join the finance team on this journey. Responsibilities Preparation and consolidation of the monthly Group cashflow forecasts Reconciliation of intercompany balances and trading across the Group Monthly accounting and reporting for head office cost centres Working with the agency finance teams to ensure accurate and timely month end submissions Consolidation of Group statutory Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Preparation of the Group management accounts, including monthly P&L forecasts Preparation of statutory accounts for Group and operating companies Assisting with the Group budget process Ad hoc support to Group CFO and CEO on all financial and commercial matters Requirements: Fully Qualified Accountant (preferably ACA) Strong technical accounting knowledge & experience Team player with strong communication skills Commercial understanding and knowledge of trading/commodity terminology (desired) Knowledge of accounting systems (Cognos/SUN/Vision - all desired)
