Client Details My client is a fast growing, successful business looking to expand their finance team. Description The key responsibilities would include: Preparation of assets employed, funds employed and cash flow. Preparation of quarterly VAT returns together with relevant working papers. Ensure that continual assessment of the standard of performance of the Accounts Department team is carried out to ensure the achievement of objectives. Assist the Departmental Managers with the preparation of annual profit plans, in order to meet the required deadlines. Ensure that entries on the bank reconciliation's have been correctly recorded and ensure that relevant action is taken during the following month on any items outstanding. Ensure that Group deadlines for submission of accurate financial accounts are met. Provide assistance with the implementation of recommendations as specified by the External Auditor. Strict adherence, both personally and by all other members of staff involved in cash handling, to laid down procedures relating to accountability for, and security of, cash takings. Profile The successful candidate would: Ideally have 1 years experience in a management accountant role. AAT qualified / studying towards an accountancy qualification Excellent communication skills Motivated and driven Hardworking Proficient in Excel Job Offer A competitive salary.
