Job Profile for Senior Accountant- JW139549 Well established practice seeking an experienced and enthusiastic senior Accountant to join their office in Leeds and take over a large portion of the ever growing work. The Accounts Senior will have the drive to succeed in a competitive environment and take control of a large variety of clients in a mixed role including advisory while also producing financial statements and assisting with juniors work. Senior Accountant Position Overview The senior Accountant will be tasked with: Preparing, reviewing and submitting statutory accounts for a variety of different clients Reviewing VAT returns and submitting on time Assisting junior members of staff when necessary Giving tax advice where necessary Senior Accountant Position Requirements Previous experience in an accountancy practice is essential ACCA, ACA, ICAEW or ICAS qualifications would be beneficial however part qualified will be considered as well. A good working knowledge of Xero and QuickBooks would be advantageous A good verbal and written manner Senior Accountant Position Remuneration £27,000 - £35,000 per annum Monday - Thursday 9:00 - 17:00 Friday - 9:00 - 12:00 33 days holiday allowance including an extra day for birthdays Statutory pension contribution scheme We, Bennett and Game Recruitment, a technical recruitment agency based in Chichester are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
