Overview

Role- Senior Sustaining Engineer / Electronic / Quality Salary- £38,000- £50,000 per annum (Dependent on experience, please advise what you’re looking for) Plus benefits including pension, healthcare, life assurance, 25 days annual leave Type- Permanent Location- Berkshire We are looking for a Senior Sustaining Engineer on a permanent basis in the Berkshire area with experience in the Electronics industry. As part of a busy and varied manufacturing team they want someone who can lead both Failure and Root Cause Analysis and Repairs of their products whilst liaising with Customers. The Senior Sustaining Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: HNC / ONC/ Degree qualified in Electronic Engineering with experience working within a similar Quality environment Have experience carrying out fault finding and have the ability to analyse electronic / power products too Good knowledge of Failure, Root Cause Analysis, Repair and Design Have an appreciation for EMC Previous experience working with Power Supplies is essential Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written Be driven and enthusiastic The Senior Sustaining Engineer role will involve: Working within the Quality Engineering team Leading Failure and Root Cause Analysis on the company’s product range which are supplied to different industries Working in a fast pace environment Being involved from customer request throughout the investigation to the report and closure Ensuring all customer returns are analysed and repaired to company standards Trouble-shooting the equipment Creating customer Failure Analysis reports (8D) Generating quotations for customers as required Liaising with other departments on a regular basis If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation.
