Overview
Leading Large Residential Project requires construction site manager for immediate start. Exclusive to Hays Your new company Our client are a leading residential builder developer with a string of highly successful residential new build and refurbishment projects behind them. They have a few large projects ongoing around Edinburgh and due to increased workload are seeking an experienced construction site manager to join their busy team. Your new role As Site Manager you will be responsible for taking over a part of a very large project for a duration of 3 months and help drive its programme along. Your part of the project is an existing building with a heritage component and ongoing works include building stabilisation, external envelope repair and internal structural refurbishment. Working with an already existing site team you will be supported in your work whilst been given autonomy to drive your part of the project forward. What you'll need to succeed The successful site manager will be from a trade background and have a strong all round construction experience ideally with a main contractor or refurbishment contractor. You will enjoy working within a tier 1 environment and understand the health and safety requirements of these projects. The ability to fit in quickly on a project and make an immediate impact is essential. Positive references must be available.
