Overview
Reporting to a Senior Group Finance Manager, the role of Group Financial Control Accountant will see lots of exposure to balance sheet and cash flow forecasting, management accounting, financial and variance analysis whilst getting lots of exposure to senior stakeholders including the Group Financial Controller and the board. The role can be defined by 30% business as usual accounting and 70% project work and problem-solving giving depth to both accounting and business partnering and commercial work. Essentially, this role would suit a late-stage part qualified (finalist) or ideally newly qualified ACMA/ACA/ACCA accountant who can demonstrate a good solid excel understanding and capable of using and modifying macros. Ideally, someone who has prepared management accounting or reports for a business and someone who is capable of writing commentaries and doing some presenting would be high on the wish list.
