Salary: From £60,000 to £70,000 per annum + Bonus + Shares + Medical + 25 Day

Overview

Infrastructure Engineer required by my client my financial technology client who continue to expand globally. This role will see you working on a combination of project and BAU work, with projects likely to take up 70% of the work in the mid-term due to the current IT transformation. In this role we are looking for a solid Windows professional with very good experience of VMWare and AWS, as there is a growing amount of cloud focus as they continue to transition from on prem This Infrastructure Engineer/Windows Engineer role will involve a lot of project work where you will be expected to manage your own mini-projects from end to end. Much of these projects are related to their global expansion and splitting out a multi-regional platform. Here is a snapshot of the required technologies: Very strong Windows Server (AD/Networking on Cloud) Windows Security AWS (implementation and automation) VMWare ESX/Vaeem Solid automation (Powershell) On Prem hardware management SAN Exchange SQL Server Config Management Networks, Firewalls, VPNs Solid understanding of IT Security and PCI compliance Any experience of the following would be a great added bonus: Terraform/Ansible Vrops (VMWare) TripWire/CyberArk CI/CD Linux As this Infrastructure Engineer/Windows Engineer role is very project focused, we are looking for someone who can manage small projects end to end under their own volition, with exceptional communication at technical and non-technical levels across the business.
