Are you an effective data manager, that understands the importance of data to strong business decisions? If so, then this is for you The Opportunity A leading client within professional services and loss adjustment, is looking for an experienced Data Manager. The ideal candidate will focus heavily on putting the usage of data right at the heart of business strategy. A key component of the role will be ensuring the organisation collates, transforms and reports its data in an excellent manner. You will be an enabler in strategic analytics and insight work across the business. In this role you will work closely with the Data and Analytics manager, to ensure all data work adheres to data governance policies and supporting data quality work with analytical needs. This role will be suitable for a data manager who doesn’t mind being hands on, but also someone who can set policy and drive its adoption. Data and Governance Manager Essentials: · Comprehensive professional experience working in data governance and data management · Experience developing data governance frameworks · Strong knowledge of SQL or another database programming · A senior role in a similar sector such as insurance, would be highly desirable · Previous experience contributing to data transformation programmes · Hands on knowledge with the Microsoft BI Stack would be advantageous · Knowledge of SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and Power BI · Familiarity with data science and analytics What next?
