Embedded Engineer - Sensor Systems - Cambridge A well-established developer of advanced sensors based in Cambridge are in the process of further expansion and are actively looking to strengthen their in-house design team by bringing on an Embedded Engineer. We are looking for people who have a passion for innovation and who enjoy solving intricate engineering problems. As an Embedded Engineer, you will be utilising your experience to lead the design and development of electronic components for innovative products and technologies. You will have access to state-of-the-art lab space and facilities and will be working alongside top-class engineers and scientists. You will be charged with designing new technologies and applications for advanced sensor systems, aimed at increasing the reliability, accuracy and efficiency of devices. Because of the nature of the company and the rarity of this skillset they are considering people from 2 years' worth of experience up to 10 years To be considered for the Embedded Engineer role you must have proven experience in the field of industrial engineering or scientific instrumentation. You will also be ideally educated to degree level in Electronics Engineering or related subjects as well as knowledge of digital circuit design. Microcontrollers expertise needs to be coupled with a solid analogue electronics background.
