Overview
A listed Pharmaceutical company based in north London are looking to hire a Head of Audit. The role will sit below the Group Head of Audit and will help with the day to day running of the Internal Audit function. The company is going through a restructure at the moment and the audit function is planning to grow as they aim to cut down their reliance on their Big 4 provider. Key Responsibilities: To work with the team in assisting ongoing programs of successful internal audits Help hire more audit staff to help grow the function To work closely with external and internal stakeholders to deliver on your Internal Audit plan Work closely with the Group Head of Internal Audit on a day to day basis Attend quarterly audit committee meetings The successful candidate will have: Will need to be ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIA fully qualified Background in the Big 4 and at least 4 years in industry is preferable The ability to work autonomously and run projects to a high standard, whilst managing your time successfully Ability to work well under pressure, whilst producing results Ability to build a vibrant team and manage own workload
