The Range originated in the markets of the Southwest where Chris Dawson started business in 1980 as an open air market trader. The Range has since grown with the company opening the first 'superstore' at Sugar Mill Business Park in Plymouth in 1989. The Role: As a result of our continued expansion plans and our ongoing success we are seeking to appoint a Supply Chain Operation Manager. In this role you will be responsible for all activities related to the planning & management of all aspects of Supply Chain including Inbound UK and International receipt, storage & distribution to stores. You will also be responsible for managing & developing a team of Supply Chain analysts & administrators Experience/Skills: Supply Chain/Logistics operations management o Shipping o Warehousing & Distribution o Order Book management FMCG/Retail Experience Analytical / Data 'Savvy’ - strong data manipulation & analysis skills essential Strong systems experience o Microsoft Excel o SQL o Merchandising systems o Warehouse Management systems Communications & Engagement o Internal Supply Chain team members Inter departmental o External Service providers - 3PL’s Commercially aware & astute Innovative & decisive Fast Paced - 'can do’ attitude
