Overview
Supply Chain and Operations Manager I am urgently looking for a Supply Chain and logistics Manager for a new opportunity based in Plymouth Ideally you will have excellent transport knowledge used to scheduling and planning loads across the Uk. • Manage end to end inbound logistics and 3PL deliveries • Manage weekly international shipping and delivery schedule • Record and process all inbound deliveries • Manage bookings and delivery into the warehouse • Monitor PO production critical dates and ensure they are met from the supplier • Assist wider teams in planning orders based on delivery schedule Database Maintenance • Record and keep track of delivery performance to support process improvement • Record product quality complaints and support the Supply Chain Manager to resolve issues with suppliers • Record and update suppliers audit trail • Record and update current and new product specification to support QA • Manage all warehouse inbound and outbound traffic • Manage all systems process of booking in and all warehouse returns • Manage all 3Pl issues planning and bookings • Ideally used to managing freight across the UK Qualifications: • 2 years' work experience in an operational role • Excellent IT and Excel skills • Ability to effective multitasking and attention to detail • Focused and results oriented • A large part of the role will be contributing to continuous improvement • A degree in Supply Chain or Business Management or equivalent experience preferred but not essential • Strong working knowledge of SAP • Knowledge on supply planning processes and best practices • S&OP understanding • Excellent leadership sills • Solid problem solving experience and use of associate tools (Lean / Six Sigma) • Solid critical thinking skills and a proven ability to demonstrate continuous improvement
