This fantastic employer is seeking a highly competent Legal Cashier with proven experience in all areas of Cash transactions for the firm. The role will include providing a legal cashiering service with a focus on Office and Client account funds to ensure a reliable, quality service is maintained at all times. This role requires someone that is independent, can work autonomously and likes to take ownership of their work. A fantastic company to work for Duties: Ensuring all Client transactions are dealt with in accordance with the SRA Accounts Rules Processing and posting of Client a/c CHAPS/SWIFT/BACS payments from Barclays.net. in a timely manner in line with firm's policies and authority limits Timely production of Client a/c cheques when requested for 2 office locations Working on the daily Land Registry report and dealing with any exceptions on the day Reconciling the PCOL invoices monthly and dealing with any exceptions in a timely manner Daily posting of Agents fees and postage charges in a timely manner for billing Working closely with the Senior Cashier in London to correct any errors on the office and client bank reconciliations immediately To be considered for this role you must Previous experience as a cashier or in accounts departments of a solicitors firm Land registry reports Fully aware of SRA Account Rules Experience in identifying funds, intercompany account transfers, payments Legal Sector Client account experience preferred Possesses the confidence to deal effectively with Partners, and to discuss their files Able to prioritize and multi-task particularly when working under pressure and to tight deadlines Highly organised with impeccable attention to detail Thorough, accurate, precise Crisp Recruitment Ltd is a local recruitment consultancy firm based in Borehamwood.
