Assembly and Test Engineer - £21K - Burgess Hill We are recruitment for an Assembly and Test Engineer, this role is an important part of the procedure within the engineering business that we are recruiting on behalf of. The business does not have a full-time inspector, so assembly is the last line of defence against substandard parts leaving the factory. The successful candidate needs to be able build and test from scratch, there is no production line. The client is a small firm and candidates need to be flexible and prepared to help out in other areas if necessary. You will be on your feet all day and will need to be able to lift 20/30Kg, the company have a crane for moving larger and heavier components, but individual components will need to man handled. We are seeking a person with a basic engineering background as the products are not hard to build and full training will be given. Although you will be part of a small team, you will be working predominantly on your own. Have you worked in a workshop as a mechanic or an engineering business getting involved in building products? This would be an ideal role for someone who enjoys mechanics, building etc. Are you a practically person, do you enjoy working in a workshop? The hours are 8.30am to 4.30pm. You will need your own transport to get to the client location.
