Accountant opportunity in SME Business Advisory offering client management responsibilities and career progression within an established North West Accountancy & Advisory Practice. THE COMPANY An established Chartered Accountancy & Advisory Practice with a rich history in Central Lancashire and a reputation for providing high-quality advice to SME and Owner-Managed businesses. The firm's Directors have an enviable track record of delivering Audit, Accounts, Tax planning and Business Advisory services to businesses ranging from start-ups and small family businesses to £20m t/o high-growth SME's. THE OPPORTUNITY . An Accountant opportunity has arisen within the firm offering a chance to work closely with SME and Owner-Managed businesses and to achieve long-term career development. Working closely with a small team of Managers and Directors you will play a key role in delivering Audit, Year-End Accounts, Monthly / Quarterly Management Accounts, Tax advice and Business Advisory solutions to a portfolio of small businesses. Key duties & responsibilities will include: Preparing Year-End Accounts for sole traders, SME's and larger Owner-Managed businesses Auditing Financial Statements of a small number of the firm's larger clients Producing Management Accounts and Business Analysis Reports for clients seeking growth Providing Tax advice to small business owners Advising clients on internal accounting systems, growth strategy and succession planning You will benefit from: Opportunity for career progression in a growing office Attractive salary and benefits package Flexibility in working hours THE PERSON You will be an Accountancy professional able to demonstrate the following: ACA / ACCA Part-Qualified / Finalist level (or Qualified By Experience) Background within Chartered Accountancy Practice (c.3 - 5 years) Ambition to progress to Manager and potentially Director longer term If you are currently working in a Chartered Accountancy Practice and are seeking an opportunity within a reputable practice offering a great future please contact Alastair McLean at Lucas McLean Recruitment to discuss this role.
