Overview
Accountable recruitment have partnered up with a national, multi million turnover retail organisation based in the heart of the city centre. In this role you will be responsible for the Accounts Payable function for the organisation and have day to day responsibility for the team underneath you and a supervisor. You will be compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial information to management as and when requested. You will also building / maintaining relationships with clients and vendors. Duties will include managing monthly closing of financial records and posting of month end information; ensures accuracy of financial statements. You will need strong interpersonal skills for interacting accountants, clients, and upper management. You will have to manage accounting functions including maintenance of general ledger, accounts payable, and project accounting; ensures accuracy and timeliness. This position is a temporary to a permanent position where you will be working on a 3 month temp basis and then go to a permanent basis with the organisation.
