Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Application Support Analyst to join a leading Financial Services company in their Liverpool office. The role will involve a combination of support, maintenance and development work, whilst continually communicating with the wider team and business to allow for ongoing improvements. You will be the single point of contact for the systems and projects under your control, meaning you will have real influence over upcoming changes. This is a permanent role, offering up to 57,000, which is highly dependant upon experience. Key responsibilities: * You will provide 2nd / 3rd Line technical support in relation to their key systems * You will regularly review performance of these systems and identify issues for change * You will maintain third-party vendor relationships to resolve issues and allow for ongoing development work * You will collaborate with other teams and business users to test and deliver solutions * You will carry out regular governance tasks * You will proactively ensure all application support documentation is well-maintained Requirements: * Prior application support & management experience * Experience with Microsoft SQL Server up to 2016 * Experience querying databases via T-SQL * Windows Server 2012/2016 * Server management in an enterprise environment * Relevant qualifications are desirable Interviews are already taking place via telephone and Skype, so apply ASAP to be considered.
