Job Title: Contract Compliance Officer - Shortlife and Housing Type of Contract: Permanent Hours: 36 hours a week, Full- Time Salary: £33,841 Closing date for Applications: 5th of April 2020 Interview Date: 9th & 10th of April 2020 (Interviews may be scheduled via Video conference)- COVID 19 Updates If you have experience of providing an advisory service to housing co-operatives and private landlords ensuring they work in in accordance with relevant legislation, regulation & leases join Optivo as a Contract Compliance Officer - Shortlife and Housing. What you’ll be doing You will be able to oversee the contractual arrangements as set out in management agreements and leases with Short Life and Housing Association Managing Co-operatives [HAMC] agents. You will be able to provide a comprehensive housing management service, including regularly inspecting the properties, used as short life accommodation ensuring they are being properly maintained. You will help protect & maintain the interest of our residents by ensuring our housing co-operatives manage our homes in lines with regulatory standards and relevant Optivo policies and procedures. What you’ll need You will have a strong understanding of Housing management, some of which must have been with a co-operative, social landlord or Local Authority. You will possess the background knowledge of working in housing related environment. Experience of providing services under or monitoring a management agreement and lease arrangements. You will be skilled at negotiations and dealing with difficult situations as they arise. Encompassed with proven track record of working in a customer facing service where customer satisfaction is at the heart of the operation. And finally, having the tenacious drive to stay aware and up-to-date with new technologies which can improve services or deliver value for money. What’s in it for you?
