Overview
Due to new orders a leading manufacturer in Worksop are looking for Production Operatives to join their established team to an on going basis. Benefits • Annual basic salary of £23,000 per annum • Pay increase after 12 weeks to £9.46ph plus 18.3% shift allowance making a total of £11.19 per hour • Overtime before 12 weeks £13.08ph and £17.44ph after 40 hours worked • Overtime rates of 1.5 £14.19ph and double time £18.92ph after 12 weeks • Long term consistent work, in work every day • After you have completed 12 weeks you will qualify for a quarterly production bonus up to £800 per month • Reputable company • Free parking • 1 hour break paid per day The Role of a Production Line Operative You will start of working on a busy fast paced production line where you will do a range of duties including assembly of cages by using a range of tools, on the line it is very physically demanding. The Candidate • Needs to be happy doing days 6.00 am-14.00 , nights 22.00-6.00am and afters 14.00-22.00 shifts • Needs to be competent working at a fast pace • Good work ethic and reliable • Have some production experience • Must have a willingness to learn • Would preferably have machine or fabrication experience and used to working at speed The role is starting of temporary but you will receive consistent work even in quieter periods but for exceeding candidates will lead to permanent position for the right candidate. The role is starting of at a £8.72ph in April but up to April you will receive £8.27ph and after 4 weeks £9.27ph but after you have worked 12 weeks there is a substantial pay increase to £11.19ph including shift allowance, there is also a quarterly production bonus up to £800 per quarter. Overtime is paid after 40 hours at time and a half and double time on a Sunday. This position is being advertised on behalf of Essential Recruitment who are an employment business.
