Overview

Robert Half are currently recruiting for a Lead UI/UX Designer who can join a leading currency exchange. As a result of rapid global expansion and digital transformation we're looking for talented UX/UI designers to help drive, streamline and shape exceptional user experiences. The Lead UI/UX Designer will be working within the growing UX/UI team and you will be responsible for designing frictionless digital experiences that drive engagement, customer satisfaction and meet commercial KPIs. You will champion the needs of both corporate and consumer users, working as part of cross-functional teams alongside product owners, proposition managers, developers, content & marketing specialists, project, business analysts and external agencies. Lead UI/UX Designer Job Responsibilities: Driving experience design and creative execution of digital development across our digital portfolio. Developing, championing and being the guardian of the UX & UI processes across the business and provide insight and best practice to colleagues in design and development. Building out the UI inventory and shared design assets. Working with key colleagues, define and communicating the vision to improve user experience design across digital channels. Working with our product management, marketing and developer teams to improve and refine our agile design approach and processes. Translating business requirements into consistent and engaging digital experiences. Developing prototypes of concepts and designs for testing and review. Initiating, leading and facilitating user testing to ensure products in development are meeting user needs and expectations Creating experience maps / process flows to inform the wider customer journey through our service and partners. Working with wider colleagues to define customer profiles, pen portraits and scenarios. Using analytics, usability testing and internal / external research to inform outputs, benchmark, define and meet KPIs. Conducting user experience audits and heuristic evaluations. Creating lean UI and UX documentation and assets including sketches, wireframes, low and high-fidelity prototypes, sitemaps & specification documents as necessary. Acting as the quality assurance lead for all UI and UX work. Helping to establish the brand as a leader in experience design improving how people can discover our service, sign-up, access and move their money globally whenever they need to. Skills required: Solid experience (likely to be 3-5 years minimum) in UX/UI Designer roles (with focus on content rich, consumer and corporate sites). Experience of working in a user focused, Agile, multiple product team environment. Expert in tools such as Sketch, InvisionApp and other modern tools/software. In-depth understanding of persuasive user experience design principles. Good understanding of accessible front-end development across multiple browsers to inform high quality, implementable solutions. Experience of championing UX best practice and building a user-focused, customer led environment. Experience working in a complex, matrix organisation. Ability to work effectively and efficiently across multiple projects with several stakeholders. Have a good understanding of cognitive behaviour and behavioural science design techniques. Experience with responsive site development. Experience with accessibility to AA standard. Experience of working with user focused, content rich sites. Ability to adapt to iterative requirements while under tight deadlines. Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration.
