Transport Supervisor, £24,000- £27,000, Motherwell Your new company An opportunity to join a leading distribution company who are going through a significant time of growth. They currently have a vacancy for a Transport Supervisor who will be flexible to work a dayshift working either Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday. Our client has a strong reputation for customer service and as they continue to grow they need to recruit and develop the right people. Your new role You will manage an operational section of the business dedicated to ensuring your workforce are engaged , well managed and perform to the highest standards against their KPI's. Manage relevant aspects of fuel and vehicle maintenance along with drivers hours legislation. You will be involved in the training and development of your employees and agency staff too. What you'll need to succeed Ideally have experience working within 3rd party logistics or general haulage. Understand planning and execution and have strong interaction with drivers. Good geographical knowledge of Central Belt of Scotland and fully understand drivers hours and regulations. What you'll get in return Salary of £24,000 to £27,000 DOE.
