Overview
Work with software developers to provide good quality analysis on the state of the system during its evolution/development, and provide reassurance on the stability and resilience of the platform to business owners. Contribute ideas on how to optimise the testing of three critical parts of the system - the functional (how it works), the performance (what can it do) and the resilience (what happens when it breaks). Upskill in the development of automated testing software and contribute to test automation capabilities of our business. Contribute to the development of test capabilities to support data analytics. Responsibilities · Ensure test coverage is sufficient for any new features being developed. · To expand test automation scripts, to ensure that regression tests are run routinely. · Provide metrics on release readiness to provide tangible information on stability. · Undertake test programmes for new features, capabilities and client deliveries · Contribute to the improvement of testing capabilities in the wider Test Practice Qualifications · Experience testing within an agile environment and/or with Kanban style task management · Experience of interpreting business requirements · Ability to ask questions in a manner that can be digested by both technical and non-technical personnel. · Knowledge or experience working with data analytics · Good written and communication skills
