Overview
HGV 1: X 5 Multi drop Drivers. Full-Time: Temp-Permanent - PAYE Positions: Class 1 Drivers Duties Include: • Loading/Un-loading Vehicles • Supermarket Deliveries Shifts Available. Working 5 out of 7 days on a Shift Rota. We have a range of start times available mixed between Earlies, Days and Nights. Long term contract for a prestigious client. This is supermarket work and can be quite physical as not like other supermarket work where you just take the cages to the tail lift and then someone from store takes it off, with this the drivers have to get the cages and pallets off the vehicle and into the store (they do have the use of a powered pump truck). They are looking for flexibility from the drivers as they move the rota’s round so they could be on nights or days, worth noting that the night deliveries involve keys and alarm codes. The shifts on average are about 10 hrs but they will probably do longer shifts at first whilst getting the hang of the job, once they know what they are doing they should be working on average 10 hrs a shift. All drivers have to go for a driving assessment and if they pass that they are then put on two days training. The training is paid at a reduced rate and paid to the driver in third week of work with the client.
