This is a great opportunity for a driven Underwriting Manager to join a well-established Insurer in the Birmingham area with a market-leading name and great reputation. This is a chance to join a very well-respected and stable Insurer who pride themselves on offering their clients a quality service whilst creating long lasting relationships. The Opportunity: You will be leading and managing the operational underwriting function within the branch. You will be rewarded with a stable role with a company that treat their staff extremely well and have ambitious plans to grow. The company are prepared to equip the successful candidate with the correct tools to get the most out of their working day. What’s needed for me to be considered? Our client is looking to consider candidates with a strong background in Underwriting and people management. You will have a solid understanding of Commercial Insurance risks and able to help junior members of the team to increase their knowledge and take a step forward in their career. This role involves lots of people management so the ability to lead and mentor is paramount. You will have a can-do attitude, a proven track record of working in a targeted environment and the ability to be able to build relationships.
