Care Assistant Location: Chocolate Works Care Village Pay: £9.15 for days Hours: Full time / Part time – Permanent Contracts The Company Springfield Healthcare has been providing exceptional care in beautiful residential settings for over 40 years. We have an increasing portfolio of Care Homes and Care Villages throughout Yorkshire and Humberside. The Chocolate Works Care Village in York is 102 beds and opened in June 2017. This luxurious and stunning new 5-star care home has been designed and built by an award-winning team within the old Terry’s factory. We provide an impressive choice of care services for a range of age groups. The home provides care from Residential, Dementia and Nursing. Purpose of the position To provide a high standard of resident care in the Care Home, promoting dignity, privacy, choice, the rights of the individual and a person-centred ethos. You will help residents enjoy every day by making sure they get the quality care and support they deserve. You will assist with daily living, providing personal care, assisting with social activities, food and drinks, providing support and companionship Following Care Plans for all residents and ensuring all documentation is completed in a timely manner Supporting residents to live in a communal environment that is well maintained, clean and attractive.
