Our client who are a provider of cloud-based solutions for the automotive industry, specialising in day rate insurance, stock management, financial management, vehicle appraisals and remarketing, is looking for a talented Senior Software Developer to join them on a permanent basis. Founded in 2001, combining Software Development and Automotive retail expertise, their products are used by over 2000 franchised auto dealerships throughout the UK. About the Role Working as a Senior Software Developer you will be passionate about products and technologies. Excellent programming skills with strong knowledge and experience in software design and database design. As Senior Software Developer , you will be cross-functional with the expertise to work on any side of the product including front-end, business logic, data layer and database. Excellent communication skills are essential to breakdown complex technical problems in simple words. The ability to work independently and as a team is essential, offering guidance and mentoring where required. As a Senior Software Developer , you must have in-depth knowledge of software architecture, software design patterns on the application and database side. Experience in an Agile Scrum methodology About you Senior Software Developer expertise in ASP.Net MVC, C# or VB.NET, jQuery, Bootstrap and SQL Server 2014 or higher. Experience of software design and architecture. Proven programming skills. Experience of technical leadership. Enthusiastic about learning and introducing new technologies to the team when required. High regard for the quality of the product being developed, consistently maintained to a very high standard.
