NPI Project Engineer Based in Aldershot 7am to 4:30pm Monday – Thursday & 7am to 12pm A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Project Engineer to work with am industry leading manufacturing business based in the Aldershot area on a permanent basis. My client manufactures bespoke parts for a range of industries including the Defence, Nuclear and Oil & Gas industries. Responsibilities: · Manage and deliver assigned new production introduction (NPI) projects from concept to mass production. · NPI projects delivery involves: · Creation of a project plan and action tracker · Project managing a multi-functional team to deliver the assigned projects · Tool specification and procurement · Material specification and procurement · Process design · Process set up and optimisation · Product validation and approval · Confirmation of rate readiness · Creation of process documentation · Generation of BOM’s and routes · Customer support and communication · Supplier management · Project meets agreed delivery, cost and quality targets Personal Attributes: · Manufacturing background with exposure to lean methodology and complex problem-solving skills · Tooling experience (understanding of tooling specification & procurement) · Project management/engineering experience · Logical thinker · Organised and structured · Team player · Agile, flexible to support business needs · Dynamic, able to work independently Other details · Free secure onsite parking · 20 days holiday bank holidays (increasing after 5 years’ service by one day per year up to a maximum of 25 days) Workplace Pension Scheme: 4% Employer/4% Employee Contribution This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89944611
