Credit Controller This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller with a proven track record to join an exciting company based in the centre of Bromley. Salary: £25K-£27K Full-Time Permanent Role Located in Bromley Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30pm to 5pm As part of the training some initial travelling to other UK company locations will be required. Key Responsibilities Ensuring customers pay on time and chasing any overdue invoices Bank reconciliations - allocate and bank all means of payment received into the business on a regular basis. Handling queries on invoices and statements. Assisting with credit note process and query resolution Working closely with Financial Team Leader to reduce company Aged Debt To ensure compliance with the company credit policy and business processes To review financial information, credit reports, customer pay history, etc. Checking customer’s credit and approving or denying applications based on company standards and requirements To maintain customer master data. Including credit limits. Improving and implementing debt collection processes when there are any overdue invoices or payments, and initiate legal procedures if necessary Adhoc projects Candidate Specification Essential At least 3 years Credit Control experience. Able to build and maintain excellent supplier relationships Strong experience in debt collection and be comfortable in a sole Credit Control role. Good negotiation, organisational and communication skills Able to demonstrate initiative and have a proactive approach Methodical, accurate with a consistent attention to detail Demonstrate enthusiasm, flexibility and commitment A strong team player You will have strong written and verbal communication skills and be a resilient, results-focused individual Desirable Credit Control experience within the construction industry Experience using CONNECT.
