About the role Our IT team is seen as a critical function within Anchor Hanover, we are providing an opportunity to get involved in the transformation of our newly formed organisation. The role holder will be an application specialist in Agresso (Business WorldOn) who has a depth of knowledge in the application and how it supports financial business processes. He/she will be expected to gain a good understanding of the Anchor Hanover business and its requirements at both an operational and strategic level. Using this understanding in combination with expertise in Agresso to provide advice and steer to colleagues in Finance on how to optimally deploy Agresso to meet their business needs. He/she will take a leading role in the set-up and configuration of Agresso and will have a responsibility to help build the capability within the IT Finance Team to be able to fully support the application. The role holder will be expected to build collaborative working relationship with colleagues within Finance and work with them to make sure users are supported and able to fully utilise the capability of the application. He/she will take a leading role in the relationship with Unit 4 (supplier of Business WorldOn) where the role holder will be expected to understand the full product capability along with future product roadmap to help formulate an "internal application development programme" for Agresso. About you You will have comprehensive knowledge and experience of developing, building and implementing new modules within Agresso, being skilled in Excelerator and having expertise in SQL. You will also be experienced in developing and analysing the financial systems. You will be experienced in the full development life cycle, understand the principles of project management and you may have a Prince 2 Foundation qualification (or other project management qualification) and/or ITIL v3 trained. You will be educated to degree level or equivalent. You will be able to develop relationships with a variety of stakeholders that enables challenge and effects influence and you will be able to show genuine enthusiasm for providing a high standard of customer service. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to successfully engage with non-technical colleagues. You will have well-developed analytical skills in combination with ability to judgment and analysis to problem solving and be able to consider a range of innovative solutions. You will be able to recognise the important facts and fully evaluate before reaching a decision and you will have the ability to work within a pressured environment, handling multiple competing priorities, whilst maintaining personal calm and composure and professionalism.
