Overview

My client, an international private equity backed business services group, is currently in need of a Group Head of Commercial Pricing. Amidst a company wide transformation programme, this role has been identified as a key hire to further improve profitability and growth. Being a Pricing expert, the chosen individual will be tasked with identifying what needs to be changed in terms of pricing, methodology, systems and processes as well as governance to arrive at a healthy, profitable business model. Responsibilities: Drives the group commercial pricing based on the prevalent Pricing model and Governance Supports bid teams throughout the organization on interpretations/presentation/adaptations based on the prevalent cost model to match RFP needed formats of rate card Collect and maintain competitive intelligence on pricing Facilitate the "Mark-up escalation" process to Bid/Pricing Board Training of the company in pricing, pricing aspects and pricing tools Experience: Background spent in corporate pricing, possessing both practical and theoretic background for working in/with pricing Prior experience of having worked in a multi-site, international or complex organization therefore possessing an understanding of how to navigate between different needs/setup/legislations Bid management experience - previously worked with bids/RFP’s and understand the phases, mechanisms and requirements
