Temporary Receptionist - Manchester City Centre Your new company Hays are recruiting for a temporary receptionist to work for a financial services business. The role is in Manchester City Centre. It is immediate start and on an ongoing basis. Your new role Main Responsibilities of your new role include but are not exclusive to: Answering all telephone calls in a professional and polite manner. Handing out visitor badges and ensuring guests are greeted in a welcoming way. Monitoring the logbook and ensuring all information is accurately written down. Making sure visitors know where to go and letting other members of the work force know when their guests have arrived. Support other team members by being proactive and providing help administration tasks. As the face of the company you must be friendly and professional to all guests. On a daily basis, you will handle and distribute all post coming in to the company. You must manage stock levels of stationery and supplies. What you'll need to succeed The successful candidate will require the following: Previous experience working as a receptionist is vital for this role. Excellent and professional telephone manner, as this will be an integral part of the role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Professionally presented as you will be the face of the company. The candidate must be, friendly, organised and intelligent A team player that is happy to help the team with anything necessary. Must be assertive and have an eager approach to work at this company. Must have a passion to deliver an excellent service in all tasks undertaken.
