Overview

The Organisation: BMC are working with a national main contractor who specialise in a variety of projects from Industrial units to Commercial buildings undertaking all aspects from the design stage through to project completion with values of around £12-15M Due to increased workload they are now looking for a junior engineer to join them on a permanent basis, as there work load is national you will be required to travel. This is very exciting opportunity which will allow you to be involved in a project from design stage through to completion, working on the civils and build of the project Duties: Working closely with the senior engineers and project manager you will gain hands on experience setting out and carrying out surveys on a variety of projects, assisting with site paperwork. You will gain experience working with reinforced concrete, temporary works, design feasibility, attend weekly/monthly client meetings. Person Specification: Able to use GNSS and Total Station 2 or 3 years' experience in civil engineering Some knowledge of the overall engineer's role, i.e. Risk Assessments, Method Statements, site permits etc. Full driving license is essential, must be willing to work away In return, you will receive comprehensive training, competitive salary, travel allowance and package
