As Data Analyst you will be based at our head office in Leeds and will report to the Sales Optimisation Controller. In this role you will provide all levels of the SOT with actionable insights by turning data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions with the goal of maximising sales for Arla and our farmer owners. Responsibilities Some of your key responsibilities in this role will include: Creating, maintaining and reviewing multiple database systems, in order to hold and standardise large amounts of store level EPOS data Developing and maintaining retailer PowerBI reports Ensuring systems combine recordings made by field reps with EPOS, in order to calculate the benefits of fixes implemented, thus giving direction to the team Reporting and analysing the volume and type of calls made by the team including coverage, length of day, time in call, performance vs. target Creating and maintaining systems that will allow automated reporting of retailer product availability, causes of availability issues and further analysis Helping to develop systems that will allow automated reporting of promotional performance, causes of poor compliance and further analysis Updating relevant information and circulating call file information to the team Reviewing territories, using systems created to highlight most valuable stores within specific geographic areas Using systems in order to set call and incremental sale targets Gaining the full engagement of key stakeholders within the immediate team and around the business, relating to the analysis, insights, outputs and recommendations of the team Training key stakeholders within the team and around the business in the use of reporting tools i.e. PowerBi and the Reports themselves Skills The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with accuracy and attention to detail. Be able to create systems through the use of software i.e. PowerBI, that allow automated reporting. Your skills will help you to identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. You will have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, Visual Basic for Applications, PowerBI.
