Overview
Job Title: Senior Transport Planner Location: Nottingham Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 As a result of an increasing workflow, the Nottingham based team of a market-leading consultancy have an opportunity available for a Senior Transport Planner. You will be involved in a range of projects across the country and internationally, with varied clients through the public and private sectors. Current workload typically involves working with commercial developers, local authorities, town-planners & architects, with the organisation offering a multi-disciplinary service into project delivery. Candidate Specification: Degree level education and working toward Chartered status; Experience in preparing transport assessments & travel plans; Knowledge of UK planning systems, DMRB & MfS; Familiarity with the likes of Junctions 9, LinSig, AutoCAD, GIS & TRICS; Comfortable managing transportation projects; Experience in managing client relationships would be beneficial; Able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. If successful, you will support the senior members of staff through the provision of technical input and assisting with project management. You will also mentor junior members of the team and support their development.
