Job Title - Stakeholder and Communications Manager Location - Milton Keynes Length - 4 months Rates - £373.46 LTD/Umbrella £326.08 PAYE In Scope of IR35 About the role / project: The Sentinel safety system plays a key role in managing track workers' safety and competences. There are approx. 130,000 users of the site, including colleagues across Network Rail and the wider rail industry. As the stakeholder management & communications manager you'll be working as part of the Network Rail Training team who manage Sentinel. Your role is to improve the visibility of the system and enhance the communications around it. What you will do: Tasks will include: Working with a range of stakeholders, including strategic teams in the regions and partners such as Transport for London. Using different channels to promote your messages. Improving the content and structure of the Sentinel website/portal. Developing and implementing the communications strategy. Deliver stakeholder management and communications activities Develop and implement the communications strategy, working with senior managers as appropriate Produce and maintain a communications plan, detailing activities and resources necessary for implementation Co-ordinate, and contribute to, the development and production of programme and project briefing materials Act as the focal point for all programme communication activity such that stakeholder relationships are appropriately managed, in liaison with relevant colleagues Develop and implement relevant standards, processes and procedures Control all communication activities in accordance with corporate policies Report on all stakeholder management and communication activities and associated KPIs Support the development and alignment of wider communication activities Identify and implement quality and efficiency improvement initiatives Your experience will include: Essential Significant Experience within corporate communications.
